Power On Self Test is not really a band powering on but it can be said to be a self test. 15 years after the breakup of their former band, Ruben Monteiro (Alluminia, Albaluna), Pedro Fortunato (Alluminia, The Red Velvets) and Davide Silva (Alluminia, Project Drizza) joined with Christian Marr's (Avalonia, Albaluna) to revive old songs and create new ones.

The band's name, inherited from Alluminia's only full length release, defies destiny and symbolizes how friendship and music can be strong bonds that connect people trough the passing of time.

With a range of influences that encompasses both thrash metal, traditional music and electronic music, the quartet refuses the intricate taxonomy of contemporary music. Out of a time when streaming music was yet wishful thinking, the band presents itself as a pure hard rock endeavor.
